Watch The Big Bang Theory S09E24 The Convergence-Convergence

"The Convergence-Convergence" is the twenty-fourth and season finale of the ninth season of the American sitcom The Big Bang Theory. The episode aired on Thursday, May 12, 2016.

The second wedding ceremnony is on while Beverly and her ex-husband fight and Mary Cooper takes an interest in Alfred. Also, Howard gets a message from the Air Force about his invention that stirs his paranoia.

Leonard and Penny plan to get remarried in front of their friends, Leonard's family, Penny's family, and Mary Cooper (who was invited by her son). Sheldon's mother and Leonard's father find something in common. Howard gets an email from the United States' Air Force about his invention enflaming his paranoia.

The night after the movie screening (from the previous episode), Leonard comes in while Penny is sitting on the bed. He complains about Sheldon's Rosa Parks incident and asks her about her time with Beverly. Penny feels that they ended in a good place and even got a hug from Beverly when she dropped her off. Also she kind of promised Beverly that they would get married again the following weekend so they could do it in front of family and friends. All that trouble for one hug? Penny explained that she was really hurt for not getting an invitation. Leonard retorts that their wedding was a spur of the moment thing and that they really don't like his mom. Penny wants to keep it a small affair and that she can invite her whole family now that her brother is out of prison. Leonard would like to invite his dad. He's doing so much better since the divorce (no more twitches). Penny then gets excited and tells Leonard that she never thought that her second marriage would be to him.

In the kitchen, Penny is explaining to the girls that they are having a renewal of their vows. Amy wants to know if she'll have a maid of honor. No. Amy replies hypothetically that if she wore a purple satin dress with a sweetheart neckline, could she prevent her from standing near Penny during the ceremony. Penny concludes that she could not. Then Amy graciously accepts. Penny asks Bernadette to officiate at the wedding, which causes Amy to complain that she is now just the lousy maid of honor. Sheldon comes in announcing that he has invited his mother to come, also adding that he invited Stephen Hawking, Robert Downey Jr., and Erno Rubik (inventor of the Rubik's Cube). Penny is annoyed that he is inviting people to "our wedding" (Leonard and Penny's). Sheldon then agrees that he is inviting people to "OUR wedding" (Leonard, Penny and Sheldon's). Again Sheldon is putting himself into the relationship. Bernadette asked why they are going to all that trouble for Leonard's mother. Penny also feels that it will help Leonard's relationship with his mother. Meanwhile in Leonard's car, Beverly yells at Leonard for inviting his father without consulting her. Leonard feels that he can invite who he wants, and that he doesn't need permission to have his won father there at his wedding. Beverly reminds him that he had an affair, which Leonard has no excuse for. Alfred called her cold, emasculating and not showing him no affection for years replied Beverly. Now Leonard thinks he has three excuses.

Howard is working on their invention and realizes that the system was now maintaining it's own stability and orientation. They have a working guidance system! As Raj congratulates him, Howard receives an email from the United States' Air Force. They are requesting a meeting to discuss their guidance system patent. Both of them wonder if it was just a coincidence that the email was received just as the system worked or whether they were being watched.

Shamy has picked up Mary from the airport. Mary thanks them and Sheldon says that she is welcomed. Mary was talking to his young lady. Amy says that it was no problem, "Mrs. Cooper." Mary tells her to call her "Mary", but Sheldon is against that because he called her Mrs. Cooper until he got to know her better. Mary was very happy that Leonard and Penny invited her. Amy cuts Sheldon off when he tries to correct her. Leonard always had a special place in her heart since he always took care of her little baby. Sheldon insists that he took care of Leonard. "Sure you did," replies Mary in a sarcastic tone. Amy tells her that Penny's family is coming the next day and that Beverly will be there, that doesn't please Mary as she pulls out her cross necklace. Sheldon points out that she is an atheist not a vampire though Mary wants to get some garlic at the store anyway.

In the apartment, Mary and Beverly are having some very awkward chit-chat. Amy thinks that the atmosphere is so chilly she can see her breath. Beverly says that they can hear them.

Howard is in his kitchen complaining to Bernadette and Raj about being extremely naïve. He thinks that the military will completely take over their project and that if anyone objects they will just disappear. Bernadette says that he is overreacting; however, Howard is convinced that they are already erasing his very existence. According to Raj, the message was from the USAF acquisition agency and that maybe they want to buy it for a lot of money. But the military took over in "Avatar", "E.T.", "Jurassic World", etc. Bernie reminds him that those were not documentaries.

Leonard and Alfred enter the lobby, Alfred approaches the elevator which is still broken and Leonard claims that it will be fixed any day now. Claiming the stairs, he hopes that he has a heart attack so he can avoid Beverly. He is still glad to have come and he feels that Penny is a real sweetie. Then Alfred wonders how Leonard caught her.

Up in the apartment, the only sound is Penny and Amy crunching on some celery and chips. No conversation... until Sheldon says "Isn't this nice?". Leonard and Alfred arrive and Penny goes up to him and hugs him. After Leonard re-introduces Alfred to Sheldon and introduces him to Mary and Amy for the first time and then to Beverly, Alfred says to her "Hello, my hateful shrew." She replies "Hello to you, you wrinkled old bastard.". Leonard asks everyone to remain civil since the get-together was for their benefit. After a round of everyone apologizing, Penny announces that they are going to have dinner at the nicest restaurant in town.

Howard is still wondering whether they should respond to the email. Raj points out that the Air Force knows that he opened it. Bernadette wants them to head out to Leonard and Penny's dinner. Raj adds fuel to the fire saying that the government is probably watching them right now through his webcam. Howard slams his laptop shut.

Driving his mother to dinner, Beverly hopes that her example of a failed marriage will not discourage them. Of course not, replies Penny. However, she adds, she and Alfred had a lot more going for them.

Mary and Alfred are getting to know each other. He says that he is an anthropologist who studies ancient cultures. "All the back to the flood?" asks Mary. Although an agnostic, he does appreciate others' beliefs. He had often prayed to God to turn Beverly into a pillar of salt. Mary adds that he came close and turned into a block of ice. Both laugh.

As Raj and Howard discuss who could help them on their drive to the restaurant, Bernadette tries to convince them that all their movies, television shows and comic books have twisted the way they are thinking. Then Howard notices a car that is following him. The car behind them is Leonard's and they decide to follow Howard since he might know a shortcut. Getting in closer freaks out Howard who makes a sudden turn and speeds up. Leonard continues to follow him fueling Howard and now even Bernadette's paranoia.

At the restaurant, Alfred and Mary are getting to know each other. Amy sees it, but Sheldon does not. Leonard and company arrive as they mention Howard's strange behavior. Penny calls Bernadette and wonders where they were. Bernie was relieved to learn it was Penny and Leonard following them. They have gotten pulled over and Howard was being given a sobriety test after ranting that the government is after him.

Back at the restaurant, Mary and Alfred are talking. Mary complements Leonard on his father's charm. Beverly interjects that he is also broke. Alfred mentions that recently they have discovered that Neanderthal man was now known to have mated with Homo sapiens which according to Mary explains her marriage to her husband. Leonard toasts Penny thanking her for a wonderful year of marriage, and for saying yes when he asked her to marry him. Penny thanks him for continuing to ask until she said yes and they kiss. Alfred also makes a toast that he is happy that Leonard has found a woman that loves and cares for him. Beverly squawks as to what the hell he means by that. And they begin arguing with Alfred telling Beverly to take a pill and she replies "Like you did before sex?" He answers "What I really needed was a blindfold". Mary tells everyone to calm down and remember what it says in the Bible: "He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty.". Beverly rudely asks Mary if she could please read another book and Mary angrily says to Beverly "When God writes one, I will.". Alfred decides to call it an early night as does Mary. When they find out they are staying at the same hotel, they both decide to share a cab and he invites her up for a nightcap as they leave. Penny and Amy see what happened, while Sheldon just thinks that they filled up on bread.

Sheldon tries calling his mother and Leonard tries texting Alfred, but neither respond. Penny laughs saying they turned their phones off. Sheldon and Leonard are quite disturbed at what is being suggested. Penny laughs and loves what is going on.

A past to present fully authorized documentary of Tiffany & Co.

Director: Matthew Miele
Writer: Matthew Miele
Stars: Jessica Biel, Katie Couric, Amy Fine-Collins
Distributor: Gravitas Ventures
Production: Quixotic Endeavors
Director-screenwriter: Matthew Miele
Producer-director of photography-editor: Justin Bare
Executive producers: Stephen McCarthy, Clive Gerson
Composers: Ryan Beatty, Daniel Warren

Matthew Miele's documentary examines the history and cultural impact of the famed jewelry company.

Don't look for any provocative insights in Matthew Miele's "fully authorized" documentary about the famed jewelry company Tiffany & Co. Continuing the retail obsession displayed in the director's Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's, Crazy About Tiffany's resembles the sort of promotional film most appropriately showcased at company meetings. Those enthralled by the venerable brand will no doubt swoon, but casual viewers will find it little more than a feature-length infomercial.

The film provides a cursory history of the retail establishment, from its 1837 founding as a fancy stationery store by Charles Lewis Tiffany and John B. Young to its 1845 creation of the "Blue Book," the first mail-order catalog, to Tiffany's 1866 creation of the modern engagement ring. (Regarding the last, I think I speak for all men when I say thanks ... thanks a lot.)

But the historical background, including Charles' son Louis Comfort Tiffany taking over in 1902 and remaking the brand with his revolutionary designs — in such areas as stained glass, ceramics, metalwork and enamels — takes a backseat to an examination of the company's cultural impact. An eclectic group of celebrities delivers commentary, including Jessica Biel, Baz Luhrmann, Fran Liebowitz, Rob Marshall, Rachel Zoe, director Sam Taylor Johnson (50 Shades of Grey)  and Jennifer Tilly.

Tilly, who admits to taking roles in bad movies just for the money to pay for her expensive jewelry habit (ah, that explains a lot), proudly shows off a gorgeous brooch pinned on her chest.

"I'm really a fan of big, big pieces," she explains, as the camera leeringly delivers a close-up of her ample breasts.

Katie Couric also provides some commentary, after which she playfully asks the crew, "Do I know how to give good f—ing sound bites or what?" making you like her all the more. We see footage of her 50th birthday party held at the flagship store, which seems like the most fun event ever to which you weren't invited.

Not surprisingly, there are numerous film and television clips featuring the store, with, you guessed it, Breakfast at Tiffany's assuming the prominent role. We learn that in return for being allowed to film on the Fifth Avenue premises, Paramount provided Audrey Hepburn for a glamorous photo shoot that made her the face of the brand.

Other films featured include Bride Wars (in which the famed little blue box is treated like a holy relic), The Great Gatsby and Sweet Home Alabama. Andy Tennant, who directed the last, talks about how the studio requested a flashier proposal scene for Patrick Dempsey and Reese Witherspoon. Tennant obliged with a sequence set in the store after-hours that was retail porn for many female viewers.

For every interesting segment, such as one devoted to the many U.S. presidents who have been the store's customers (Lincoln, both Roosevelts, Ike and JFK, among others), there's another that sets your teeth on edge, such as when a sales clerk holds up a $923,000 engagement ring to the camera.

"Still a bargain," he says cheerfully.

Blithely traversing its subject like a game of Trivial Pursuit — do we really need to know the genesis of the '90s pop song "Breakfast at Tiffany's," by one-hit wonder Deep Blue Something? — the doc, unlike a million-dollar gem, quickly loses its luster.

Friends hatch a plot to retrieve a stolen kitten by posing as drug dealers for a street gang.

Director: Peter Atencio
Writers: Jordan Peele, Alex Rubens
Stars: Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Tiffany Haddish

Keanu is a 2016 American action comedy film directed by Peter Atencio and written by Jordan Peele and Alex Rubens. The film stars Peele, Keegan-Michael Key, Method Man, Nia Long and Will Forte. Filming began in New Orleans, Louisiana in June 2015. The film premiered at the South by Southwest Festival on March 13, 2016 and was released in North America by Warner Bros. on April 29, 2016.

The Story
Smoke and Oil Dresden (Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key), a pair of assassins known as the "Allentown Boys", enter a drugs-processing facility run by a Mexican drug cartel and kill everyone inside, including the gang's leader King Diaz. The pair take Diaz's cat Iglesias, but when they are momentarily distracted by policemen arriving, the cat escapes. Meanwhile, Rell (also Jordan Peele) has just been dumped by his girlfriend; he finds the cat on his doorstep, takes an immediate liking to it, and names it Keanu. Rell's cousin Clarence (also Keegan-Michael Key) comes over to cheer him up and meets Keanu as well.

Two weeks later, Clarence's wife and daughter go out of town with the husband and daughter of a family friend, leaving Clarence alone. Rell, who is much happier after taking care of Keanu, takes Clarence out to see a Liam Neeson movie, telling him he needs to loosen up and just be himself. When the two return to Rell's house, they find the place has been ransacked and Keanu is missing. A distraught Rell drags Clarence along to the next-door residence of his weed dealer Hulka (Will Forte), who reluctantly reveals that the 17th St. Blips, a local gang, may have raided Rell's house instead of his. Hulka directs them to a downtown strip club; Rell and Clarence go there, where Rell convinces Clarence to adopt a "gangsta" persona in order to infiltrate the gang; they call themselves "Tectonic" and "Shark Tank". The two meet Hi-C (Tiffany Haddish), who initially is skeptical of them, but nonetheless takes them to meet the gang's leader Cheddar (Method Man), who mistakes them for the Allentown Boys. Cheddar has Keanu (having re-named him New Jack), and they ask for the cat. He will only do so if they come along as expert advisors for the Blips on a run to sell a new drug called "Holy Shit"; the two reluctantly agree.

After taking their team through a team-building exercise, Rell, Clarence, Hi-C, and three other gang members drive to their delivery spot. While Clarence stays behind and introduces the young men to the music of George Michael (whom he describes as if he were black, to overcome their skepticism), Rell and Hi-C go to make the sale; the buyer turns out to be Anna Faris, who is partying with two friends. Faris invites them to play Truth or Dare; she dares Hi-C to shoot Rell. When Hi-C refuses, a fight ensues in which Faris and her two guests are both shot and killed by Hi-C, terrifying Rell. At the strip club after the run, Clarence accidentally smokes some Holy Shit, and experiences a drug trip in which he appears in a George Michael video, and Keanu speaks to him in the voice of Keanu Reeves. Rell begins to worry about his cousin and convinces him to just take Keanu and leave. The two do so, but are abducted on their way to their car by the actual Allentown Boys.

They tie Rell and Clarence to chairs and prepare to torture them, but Keanu claws through Rell's ropes, allowing him to free himself and Clarence, and they grab the Allentown Boys' guns. The Allentown boys continue to approach them, but Clarence and Rell completely unload the guns into them, seemingly killing them. On their way out of the building searching for Keanu, Rell and Clarence run into the Blips; Cheddar has discovered their real identities from Hulka, and forces them to come along to a meeting with the Mexican drug cartel at its mansion in the morning. At the meeting, the Blips meet with King Diaz's cousin Bacon (Luis Guzmán), offering Clarence and Rell as the supposed Allentown Boys, but when Bacon also demands "Iglesias", Cheddar refuses and starts a gunfight between the two gangs. Clarence and Rell realize that the team-building exercise the two took the gang through has improved their communication; they pick up guns and shoot their way out of the mansion in pursuit of Bacon, who has taken Keanu, only for Rell to be shot in the leg and Clarence shot in the hand.

Rell – who doesn't have a driver license – hijacks Bacon's escape car with Bacon and Keanu in the back; Clarence gives chase in another of Bacon's cars. The chase ends at Clarence's house, where Rell crashes into the front yard, sending Bacon flying through the windshield. Bacon gets up and attempts to shoot Rell, but Clarence runs him over. Bacon gets up again, but is shot and killed by Cheddar and the Blips. The Blips threaten Rell and Clarence, but Hi-C – secretly a police officer – breaks her cover and forces the Blips to drop their guns. When Cheddar attempts to shoot her, she kills him. The police arrive, and Hi-C reveals that Faris and her party guests were in on the whole operation and are all still alive, but Rell and Clarence will still have to go to jail for the activities they've taken part in, including the killing of the Allentown Boys; she promises to testify for leniency and agrees to go on a date with Rell after they get out of jail.

Six months later, Rell and Clarence have only three weeks left on their jail sentences, but have commanded respect among the inmates - including the remaining Blips - for killing the Allentown boys. Hi-C, who has been taking care of Keanu, speaks with Rell through a visitation phone, where she reveals that she's just been to the veterinarian and discovered that Keanu has a rare disease: he will remain a kitten forever.

In a post-credits scene, the Allentown Boys are revealed to have survived the shooting and get back into their car, presumably to go after Rell and Clarence.

Stars: Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman

London Has Fallen is a 2016 American action thriller film directed by Babak Najafi and written by Creighton Rothenberger, Katrin Benedikt, Chad St. John and Christian Gudegast. It is a sequel to Antoine Fuqua's 2013 film Olympus Has Fallen, and stars Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman, with Alon Moni Aboutboul, Angela Bassett, Robert Forster, Melissa Leo, Radha Mitchell and Charlotte Riley in supporting roles.

Filming began on October 24, 2014 in London. A Christmas break started in November with filming resuming in February 2015. The film was released on March 4, 2016 by Focus Features under their recently revived Gramercy Pictures label.

A Pakistani arms dealer and terrorist leader named Aamir Barkawi (Alon Moni Aboutboul) is discovered to be the mastermind behind several terrorist attacks around the world. Western intelligence services locate his compound and the United States launches a drone strike against it, supposedly killing Barkawi along with his family. Two years later, Mike Banning (Gerard Butler), Secret Service agent for President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart), is expecting his first child with his wife Leah (Radha Mitchell). He hopes to spend more time with his family, and is contemplating resigning from the Secret Service. Meanwhile, having survived the earlier airstrike, Barkawi meets his son Kamran (Waleed Zuaiter) in Yemen so that the pair may set in motion their plans for revenge.

Asher and Mike are informed that the British Prime Minister James Wilson has died. Along with Secret Service Director Lynne Jacobs (Angela Bassett), they travel to London to join many other prominent world leaders for Wilson's state funeral. As the dignitaries are arriving, several mercenaries under Barkawi's command initiate an attack, starting with a bomb that destroys the Canadian Prime Minister's limo as it passes through Trafalgar Square, killing him and his wife. Other leaders soon suffer a similar fate – the Japanese Prime Minister drowns when suicide bombers cause Chelsea Bridge to collapse, the French President perishes in a huge bomb blast on the River Thames that destroys his yacht and heavily damages Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster, the Italian Prime Minister and his wife are killed when one of Westminster Abbey's bell towers is demolished while they are touring it, and the German Chancellor is shot dead by terrorists posing as Queen's Guardsmen at Buckingham Palace. Meanwhile, Asher and the Secret Service men with him are engaged in a firefight by yet more terrorists disguised as British Police and other emergency responders. Both sides suffer heavy losses before Banning, Asher and Jacobs narrowly escape the chaos. The president's staff back at the White House watch in horror as London is left in chaos and hundreds of civilians are killed.

At their base of operations, the terrorists hack into the city's power network, effectively shutting it down. Banning, Asher and Jacobs head to Marine One for extraction. However, terrorists positioned on building rooftops use Stinger missiles to take out the decoy helicopters before shooting down Marine One. The aircraft crash-lands in a park, resulting in Jacobs being fatally wounded; she dies in Mike's arms after making him promise to kill those responsible for the carnage. Mike and Asher go on the run, fleeing into the deactivated London Underground to get off of the streets. As they move through the underground tunnels, Asher notes that the terrorists want to capture him alive so that he may be executed publicly, and orders Mike to kill him if necessary to stop that from happening. Mike reluctantly agrees. As they move across the city, Mike manages to discreetly contact Vice President Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman) and send the White House a message to let them know that he and Asher are heading for an MI6 safehouse in the city.

The staff at the White House receive a threatening call from Barkawi revealing his role in the plot and his desire for vengeance. They are also informed that Wilson's autopsy report detected poison in his body, revealing that he was intentionally murdered to lure the world leaders to London so that they could be killed. With the city in lockdown, Mike and Asher reach the safe-house of MI6 agent Jacqueline "Jax" Marshall (Charlotte Riley), whom Mike knows well. Jax uses her computer to determine Barkawi's involvement. She plays back a message from Trumbull confirming that they received Mike's message and are sending help. On the security cameras, the three see what is supposedly a Delta Force Team there to rescue Mike and Asher. However, Mike notices the operators aren't sweating after supposedly trekking across the city on foot in heavy gear, and thereby deduces they are yet more terrorist impostors. Knowing that the terrorists must have a mole within the British government, Jax heads to Scotland Yard to coordinate with local authorities while Mike stays behind to eliminate the terrorists, aided by Asher. The pair then take an MI6 vehicle and make a run for the safety of the U.S. Embassy, but are overturned by a van driven by the terrorists. Banning regains consciousness just in time to see Asher being abducted.

President Asher is taken to a construction site in the city that serves as the terrorists' secret headquarters. There, Kamran prepares to execute Asher publicly, broadcasting the video feed live around the world via the internet and hacked video outlets. Meanwhile, Mike has been found by a unit of SAS commandos, and the group assaults the terrorist stronghold in an attempt to rescue Asher. As millions around the world watch, Kamran brutally beats Asher before preparing to behead him with a machete, asking the President if he has any final words, to which Asher begins reciting the presidential Oath of Office. At the last moment, Mike bursts in and shoots the gathered terrorists before engaging in a fistfight with Kamran, although the terrorist leader ultimately manages to flee. Surrounded by yet more terrorists during their own escape attempt, Mike orders the SAS commander to blow up the building, jumping down a shaft to safety with Asher as the fireball engulfs Kamran and the remaining hostiles, killing them. Jax discovers that MI5 Intelligence Chief John Lancaster (Patrick Kennedy) is the traitor who helped Barkawi and kills him in self-defense after he refuses to be taken into custody. Some time later, Barkawi's compound is located in Yemen, where another drone strike is launched against him. Trumbull contacts him by phone and speaks to him moments before he dies in the explosion.

Two weeks after the attack on London, Mike returns home and is spending time with Leah and their newborn child, named Lynne after his deceased boss. He sits in front of his laptop and continues to contemplate sending his letter of resignation to Asher. On TV, Trumbull speaks regarding the recent events, leaving an inspiring message that America will prevail. This convinces Mike to delete the letter.

The Story
Soren, a young barn owl, lives in the Tyto Forest with his family: his father, Noctus; his mother, Marella; his older brother, Kludd; his younger sister, Eglantine; and Mrs. P, the family's nest maid, a kindly blind snake. Soren enjoys listening to the 'Legends of Ga'Hoole,' which are mythical tales of warrior owls called the Guardians who fight against the Pure Ones. Kludd berates his brother's dreams, having grown tired of listening to the stories. When their father teaches them the first steps to flying, Kludd becomes jealous of Soren's natural branching ability. Later, when practicing branching while their parents are hunting, Kludd pushes Soren off a branch which forces them both to fall to the ground. They are attacked by a Tasmanian devil but are saved, and then kidnapped, by two owls, Jatt and Jutt.

Along the way, more owlets are revealed to have been kidnapped. Soren meets Gylfie, a young elf owl who is also kidnapped. At St. Aegolius, the owlets are greeted by Nyra, who says that they will be divided into either soldiers or 'pickers'. When Soren and Gylfie protest, they are sorted as pickers while Kludd, who betrays Soren, is sent to be a soldier. Soren and Gylfie avoid being 'moon-blinked' (a catatonic state induced by sleeping under a full moon), while the others do not know and become moon-blinked. They are forced to 'pick' through owl's pellets, scouring for bits of metal 'flecks', which are being used to build a superweapon. They are spotted by Grimble, a boreal owl, who reveals that he works under the Pure Ones only to keep his family safe and that he isn't really a Pure One at all. He teaches them to fly, but Nyra finds out whilst coming to invite Soren to become a soldier. Kludd decides to stay behind and become a Pure One, despite Soren's pleas for him to come with him. Grimble and Nyra engage in a battle, but Grimble is eventually killed. Following his instructions to seek the Great Tree of Ga'Hoole and warn the Guardians, Soren and Gylfie fly out. Along their journey, they meet Twilight, a great grey owl, and Digger, a burrowing owl, and rest with them in their shared hollow. Soren is reunited with Mrs. P who is brought in by Twilight, having captured her for dinner while she searched for them. She agrees to go with them to find the Guardians.

The band flies towards the sea of Hoolemere where a flock of crows chaotically guides them to the legendary shrine and gateway of the Guardians, kept by an oracular echidna, who provides comic, but accurate, descriptions of the quintet and guidance to the object of their quest. He sends the owls out to sea to find the island of Ga'Hoole. En route, the band encounters a fierce storm and Digger's wings freeze, causing him to nearly drown in the sea, but they are saved by Boron and Barran, the king and queen of the Guardians who lead them back to the Tree of Ga'Hoole. There, Soren tells the Guardian council about the Pure One's plans. The Guardians are skeptical, but an elderly screech owl named Ezylryb is convinced by Soren's sincerity. Boron sends a great grey owl called Allomere out with two scouts to investigate St. Aegolius.

The band is shown refuge at the Tree of Ga'Hoole, guided by a young Guardian-in-training named Otulissa, a short-eared owl. Soren develops a crush on her, to Gylfie's annoyance. They are sent to attend different classes called 'chaws'. During one lesson in the middle of a rainstorm, Soren grasps a brief hold on gizzard-flying (flying purely with instinct), but loses control and falls towards the sea. Ezylryb rescues him and orders Soren back to his hollow. There, Soren learns that Ezylryb is, in fact, the Lyze of Kiel; the legendary leader of the Guardians who fought and defeated Metal Beak, the ancient leader of the Pure Ones, and Nyra's mate. But Soren is disheartened when he learns that his hero is a battle worn veteran who scoffs at his own past. Allomere returns from his scouting mission with news that his two wingmen were killed in an ambush. He brings back with him two moon-blinked owlets, one of which is Soren's sister, Eglantine. Seeing the evidence, the Guardians arrange for battle and fly out towards St. Aegolius. Before leaving, Ezylryb instructs an anxious Soren to tend to his sister. When she finally snaps out of her trance, Eglantine tells Soren that it was Kludd who moon-blinked her and gave her to Allomere, and he realizes that Allomere is a traitor and that the Guardians are actually flying into a trap. The band then follows the Guardians where they find the Guardians subdued by the flecks, contained in a machine operated by bats.

Twilight, Gylfie and Digger fend off the bats sent by Metal Beak to kill the paralyzed Guardians. This causes Metal Beak to distrust Allomere, and, believing he lied to him about bringing all the Guardians, has him dragged away by several bats, and is seemly killed in the darkness. Meanwhile, Soren flies through a forest fire, igniting a lamp of oil, and manages to disable the fleck trap. Freed and recovered, the Guardians fly into battle and Ezylryb goes straight for Metal Beak, who with Nyra begins to overpower him. Soren flies into the battle after spotting Kludd, but Kludd attacks him, throwing him into the forest fire. The two brothers briefly fight while Soren tries to talk some sense into Kludd but Kludd replies that the Pure Ones believe in him like no one ever has and how Metal Beak said that the strong with triumph, the broken will be put out of their misery and that honor is just another word for weakness. Soren replies that he knows that Kludd doesn't think like that to which Kludd replies that Soren doesn't know him at all, before he leaps onto Soren, causing them to fall down a tree. Injured, Kludd tries to trick Soren to help him up, but as he attempts to do so, Kludd attacks him again, only for the branch Kludd is holding onto to snap, causing him to fall into the fire and disappear, seemingly killed. Furious at Kludd's apparent death and betrayal, Soren grabs a flaming branch and attacks Metal Beak. Metal Beak easily has the upper hand on Soren, but grows over-confident and Soren manages to kill him, impaling him with the branch when he dives at Soren. Nyra, shocked at her mate's death, retreats with the remaining Pure Ones.

When they return to the tree, Soren and Eglantine are reunited with their parents, who have come to the tree. The band is then welcomed as new Guardians. Soren states that whilst Metal Beak was defeated, Nyra escaped and Kludd's body was never found. Meanwhile, back in the smoking remains of the canyons, a shadowy owl; presumably Kludd, is shown staring at the mask of Metal Beak with red "Pure One" eyes.

Joy is the story of the title character, who rose to become founder and matriarch of a powerful family business dynasty.

Director: David O. Russell
Writers: David O. Russell (screenplay), Annie Mumolo (story)
Stars: Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper

Joy is a 2015 American biographical comedy-drama film, written and directed by David O. Russell[4] and starring Jennifer Lawrence as Joy Mangano, a self-made millionaire who created her own business empire. Mangano was a divorced mother with three children in the early 1990s when she invented the Miracle Mop and became an overnight success, after which she patented many other products, often selling on the Home Shopping Network and QVC. The film is a semi-fictional and inspirational portrayal of how Mangano overcame personal and professional obstacles to rise to the top.

Joy received a wide theatrical release on December 25, 2015, and is distributed by 20th Century Fox. It earned mixed reviews from critics, who praised Lawrence's performance but criticized the writing and pace of the film, particularly the first half. Lawrence received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for her performance. Joy was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, among other accolades.

In 1989, Joy Mangano is a divorced mother of two, working as a booking clerk for Eastern Airlines. She lives with her two young children, her mother, Terri, her grandmother, Mimi, and her ex-husband, Tony in working-class, Quogue, New York. Her parents are divorced, and her mother and father fight whenever her father shows up at her home. Joy's older half-sister, Peggy, is an overachiever who constantly humiliates Joy in front of her children. Peggy and Joy's father Rudy are very close. Terri spends all day lying in bed watching soap operas as a means of escape from her life, leaving Joy to run the household. Only Joy's grandmother and her best friend Jackie encourage her to pursue her inventing ambitions and become a strong successful woman.

After divorcing his third wife, Joy's father starts dating Trudy, a wealthy Italian widow with some business experience. While on Trudy's boat, Joy drops a glass of red wine, attempts to mop up the mess, and cuts her hands on the broken glass while wringing the mop. Joy returns home and creates blueprints for a self-wringing mop. She builds a prototype with help from the employees at her father's shop. She then convinces Trudy to invest in the product. They make a deal with a company in California to manufacture the mop's parts at a low price. In order to avoid a potential lawsuit, Joy also pays $50,000 in royalties to a man in Hong Kong who supposedly has created a similar product. When the company repeatedly bills Joy for faulty parts they create, Joy refuses to pay the fees and tells her father, Trudy, and Peggy not to pay them.

Joy needs a quick, easy way to advertise her product, and is able to meet with QVC executive Neil Walker. Neil is impressed and shows Joy his infomercials, where celebrities sell entrepreneur's products through a telethon system. Neil tells Joy to manufacture 50,000 mops. Joy is advised by Trudy to take out a second mortgage on her home, in order to pay her costs. The first infomercial fails, but when she goes on QVC, Joy and her product become an overnight success. Things look up for the family, with the mop earning thousands of dollars on QVC, and Terri falls for Toussaint, a Haitian plumber Joy hired earlier in the film to fix up a leak in Terri's bedroom.

Joy's grandmother dies suddenly. Rudy and Trudy send Peggy to California to conduct Joy's company business. Afterwards Peggy tells Joy that she paid excessively raised production fees. Joy is angry and travels to California to meet with the manufacturer, who refuses to pay her back. Joy also discovers that the manufacturer is about to fraudulently patent her design. Her lawyer reveals that there is nothing they can do to prevent this, and Joy is forced to file for bankruptcy. Joy discovers that the manufacturers have been defrauding her the entire time she has dealt with them. She confronts the owner, and forces him to pay her back.

Several years later, Joy is wealthy and runs a successful business. She continues to take care of her father, even though he and Peggy had unsuccessfully sued her for ownership of the company. Terri is the only family member who does not live off Joy, finally finding stability through her relationship with Toussaint. Jackie and Tony remain Joy's most valued advisers, and the film ends with her helping a young mother develop a new invention.

The film was released in 2D, 3D, IMAX 3D and 4DX.[5] The film received positive reviews and has grossed over $629 million worldwide, becoming Scott's highest-grossing film to date, as well as the tenth-highest-grossing film of 2015. It received several accolades, including the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, and seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay for Goddard. For his performance, Damon received several awards nominations, including the Academy Award for Best Actor, the BAFTA for Best Actor, the Critic's Choice Award for Best Actor, and he won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy.

The crew of the Ares III manned mission to Mars is exploring the Acidalia Planitia on Martian solar day (sol) 18 of their 31-sol expedition. An unexpectedly strong dust storm threatens to topple their Mars Ascent Vehicle (MAV), forcing them to hastily leave the planet. During the evacuation, astronaut Mark Watney is struck by debris and lost in the storm; the last telemetry from his suit indicates no signs of life. With the remaining crew in peril, mission commander Melissa Lewis gives the order to launch to return to their orbiting vessel Hermes without him.

Watney awakens after the storm to a low oxygen warning and makes his way to the "Hab", the crew's base of operations. He removes a piece of antenna from his torso and suit's biomonitor, which caused the erroneous life-sign readings, and begins a video diary. He realizes that his only chance of rescue is the arrival of the Ares IV crew at the Schiaparelli crater, 3,200 kilometers away, in four years. Calculating that he has enough food to last only 300 sols (roughly 309 days), Watney, a botanist, improvises a farm with Martian soil fertilized with human waste, water produced by extracting hydrogen from leftover rocket fuel then oxidized by burning, and potatoes saved for a Thanksgiving meal. He begins to modify the only functional rover to make long journeys across Mars.

Reviewing satellite photos of Mars, mission director Vincent Kapoor and satellite planner Mindy Park realize Watney has survived. Despite the objections of Hermes flight director Mitch Henderson, NASA administrator Teddy Sanders decides not to inform the Ares III crew, believing it would distract them from their mission.

Watney takes the rover to retrieve the Pathfinder probe, which fell silent in 1997. Using the lander's camera, he establishes rudimentary communication with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) team. NASA instructs Watney to modify the rover to link with Pathfinder so they can communicate via text. Watney becomes angry when he learns that the crew has not been told of his survival, and Sanders authorizes Henderson to inform them.

Henderson and JPL director Bruce Ng formulate a plan to send a space probe to Mars and resupply Watney with enough food to survive until Ares IV's arrival. When the Hab's airlock malfunctions and explosively decompresses, destroying Watney's crop, Sanders orders the team to speed up the supply mission by skipping the safety inspections. The supply probe explodes shortly after liftoff.

The China National Space Administration offers NASA the Taiyang Shen, a classified booster that can carry a payload to Mars. Meanwhile, JPL astrodynamicist Rich Purnell devises a trajectory to send Hermes back to Mars more quickly, using the Chinese booster to instead resupply it for an additional eighteen months. Sanders rejects the plan, refusing to risk the crew, but Henderson surreptitiously sends the details to Hermes. Lewis and her crew vote unanimously to execute the plan, and NASA—powerless to stop them—proceeds with the resupply as Hermes flies by Earth, using its gravity to slingshot them back to Mars.

After 461 sols, Watney begins the 90-sol journey to Schiaparelli, where the MAV for the Ares IV mission has been prepositioned. To rendezvous with Hermes, Watney makes drastic modifications to reduce the MAV's mass, removing equipment including the windows, nose cone, and exterior panels. With Watney on board the gutted MAV, the Hermes crew launches it remotely, but it does not reach the planned speed and altitude. Lewis has Hermes use its maneuvering thrusters to change course and explosive decompression of its own internal atmosphere to adjust its speed. When even that is not enough, Lewis uses a Manned Maneuvering Unit to approach Watney's vessel, but still cannot reach him. Watney pierces the glove of his pressure suit and uses the escaping air as a miniature thruster to reach Lewis. The crew is reunited, as crowds around the world cheer the news.

After returning to Earth, Watney begins a new life as a survival instructor for new astronaut candidates. Five years later, on the occasion of the Ares V mission launch, those involved in Watney's rescue have returned to their lives or begun new lives.

How to Be Single is a 2016 American romantic comedy film directed by Christian Ditter and written by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein, based on the novel of the same name by Liz Tuccillo. Starring Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson, Alison Brie, Leslie Mann, Damon Wayans Jr., Anders Holm, Jake Lacy and Jason Mantzoukas. It was released on February 12, 2016, by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Alice (Dakota Johnson) temporarily dumps her college boyfriend Josh (Nicholas Braun) and moves to New York City to be a paralegal. She moves in with her sister, Meg (Leslie Mann) an OB/GYN who refuses to have a baby or any form of relationship. Alice befriends wild co-worker Robin (Rebel Wilson), who enjoys partying and one-night stands, and local bartender Tom (Anders Holm), who willfully embraces the bachelor lifestyle. Tom meets Lucy (Alison Brie) at his bar when she uses his Internet for free. She explains she is looking for "The One" using various dating sites.

Alice meets with Josh to tell him she is finished with their break and ready to get back together. Josh explains that they can't because he is seeing someone else, which distresses Alice. Meanwhile, Meg has a change of heart and decides to have a child via sperm donor. She starts dating a younger man named Ken (Jake Lacy) shortly after learning her attempt at in vitro fertilization was successful, however she hides the pregnancy from Ken.

Back at Tom's bar, Lucy has a string of bad dates. Tom witnesses this and realizes he has feelings for Lucy. As her sister kindles her own relationship, Alice continues to pine after Josh. In an attempt to put herself out there, she attends a Wesleyan alumni networking event, where she hits it off with a man named David (Damon Wayans Jr).

Lucy, having been in a relationship for three weeks with a man named Paul, goes to Grand Central Station to send him off to the train. Paul reveals that he has been seeing other people, thinking she was doing the same, and breaks up with her. Lucy, extremely agitated, breaks down at her volunteer job reading stories to children. George (Jason Mantzoukas), who works at the bookstore, soothes her and the two begin a relationship.

Alice and Robin attend Josh's winter holiday party, however Alice finds she cannot watch Josh with his new girlfriend. Walking alone, she runs into David, who shows her a private view of the Rockefeller Christmas tree. Dazzled, Alice thanks him and they begin a relationship. Three months later, as she is singing with David's daughter, Phoebe, David becomes upset with Alice, reminding her sternly that she's not Phoebe's mother. The two break up.

On St Patrick's Day, Alice bumps into Josh and his parents, and he appears pleasantly surprised to see her. Lucy comes to Tom's bar and shows him the swanky outfit she got for herself to share with George. Tom is visibly upset, and he invites Alice to get drunk. The two talk about their frustrations with their feelings for Josh and Lucy, and end up sleeping together in an attempt to distract themselves. Meanwhile, Ken discovers Meg is pregnant, but is eager to help raise her child. Meg, concerned that he isn't truly committed, ends the relationship.

Later, at Alice's birthday party, Robin has invited Tom, David, and Josh without Alice's knowledge. Shaken by the presence of all three men, Alice argues with Robin. Tom goes to confess his feelings to Lucy, who announces she is engaged to George. Now sitting on the fire escape, Alice is joined by Josh. The two make out passionately, but stop when Alice is horrified to learn that Josh is now engaged and was simply looking for closure. Invigorated by a desire to find herself, Alice leaves to go home. Her cab hits Robin, who has purposely jumped on the windshield to get a cab for Meg, who is in labor. Alice and Meg rush to the hospital, where Meg successfully delivers her baby. Ken appears and convinces her to re-enter the relationship, while Alice repairs her relationship with Robin.

The film closes as Alice reflects on her time living alone and being single. Tom is seen repairing his tap water plumbing, which he had purposely cut in an attempt to prevent hungover women from hanging around his apartment. Meg and Ken are seen enjoying their life as a couple, and Robin carries on partying. Alice is seen hiking the Grand Canyon by herself so that she can witness the sunrise on New Year's Day, a dream she always had.

Zoolander 2 (also known as Zoolander No. 2 and 2oolander) is a 2016 American comedy film directed by Ben Stiller and written by John Hamburg, Justin Theroux, Stiller, and Nick Stoller. It is the sequel to the 2001 film Zoolander and stars Stiller, Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, Penélope Cruz, Kristen Wiig and Fred Armisen. Filming took place from April to July 2015 in Rome, Italy. The film was released on February 12, 2016, by Paramount Pictures.

At Fashion Interpol, Valentina Valencia examines the expressions of recently assassinated pop singers' last images and discovers they match Derek Zoolander's trademark look, "Blue Steel". A flashback reveals that the Derek Zoolander Center For Kids Who Can't Read Good collapsed, killing Matilda Jeffries and injuring Hansel McDonald. Derek later lost custody of his son, Derek Zoolander Jr., and announced his retirement from modeling and subsequent reclusion.

Derek now lives alone in "extreme northern" New Jersey. Billy Zane visits and gives him an invitation to the House of Atoz fashion show by Alexanya Atoz, and persuades him to return to a regular lifestyle in order to regain custody of his son. In the "uncharted Malibu territories", Hansel returns to his home after dinner and is informed by his orgy that they are all pregnant and that he is the father. He is later given the same invitation by Zane. After reuniting, Derek and Hansel are tracked down by Valentina, who asks them to help Interpol uncover who is behind the systematic assassinations.

At the fashion show, Derek and Hansel are surprised to find that the ever-changing fashion world is now dominated by the likes of Don Atari and the androgynous All. They are put on the runway in "Old" and "Lame" outfits and are doused by a large bucket of prunes. Afterwards, Alexanya congratulates them on their performance.

With Valentina's help, Derek discovers his son is residing at a local orphanage. They find him, but Derek is distraught by his son's obesity. After Matilda's ghost asks him to protect their son, Hansel convinces Derek to accept Derek Jr. After meeting the Headmaster, Derek takes his son around Rome. However, Derek Jr. becomes disgruntled with his father and returns to the orphanage. Hansel receives an anonymous call, requesting that he travel to St. Peter's Basilica at midnight. He, Derek, and Valentina go to the church and meet with Sting, who tells them the tale of Adam and Eve and the little-known Steve, who many rockstars have died to protect. It is said that Steve is the common ancestor of all models and that he and his closest descendant (Derek Jr.) hold the bloodline of the Fountain of Youth.

Derek returns to the orphanage, only to find it in disrepair and his son and the Headmaster gone. He travels to Jacobim Mugatu's isolated prison, but is captured, while Mugatu escapes. Mugatu leaves on a helicopter while Hansel stows away by hiding on top of the propeller. Derek and Valentina swim back to Rome while Hansel infiltrates the House of Atoz. He witnesses Mugatu reuniting with Alexanya and killing Don Atari. Hansel finds Derek Jr. imprisoned and reunites with Derek and Valentina at the IncrediBALL. They enter a bathhouse through a rear entrance and witness Derek Jr. strapped to a table.

Mugatu and many of the world's fashion designers prepare to cut out Derek Jr.'s heart and consume his blood, believing it to grant them eternal youth as it contains the blood of Steve. Derek, Hansel, and Valentina stop Mugatu from proceeding and he reveals that he brought together the world's fashion designers to kill them as revenge for leaving him imprisoned. Alexanya, who is actually Katinka Ingabogovinanana, attacks Valentina, while Mugatu tells Derek that he was behind the destruction of his Center by hiring the construction crew to build a faulty base. He then throws an explosive towards the lava. Derek manages to stop it with "Magnum", but he struggles to keep it suspended in mid-air. Sting arrives and reveals that he is Hansel's father, and they, along with Derek Jr., successfully hurl the explosive back at Mugatu, killing him. Derek Jr. forgives his father for his mother's death and Derek and Valentina confess their love for each other. Matilda's ghost gives them her blessing and says that Mugatu live-streamed the event.

Six months later, Derek and Hansel have returned to modeling. Derek and Valentina have a daughter named Darlene, while Derek Jr. is now in a relationship with Malala Yousafzai. Hansel returns to living with his orgy and is now the father of 10 children.

Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Political interference in the Avengers' activities causes a rift between former allies Captain America and Iron Man.

Captain America: Civil War is a 2016 American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Captain America, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger and 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the thirteenth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, and features an ensemble cast that includes Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Tom Holland, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Daniel Brühl. In Captain America: Civil War, one year after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, an act regulating superhuman activity fractures the Avengers into opposing factions, one led by Steve Rogers and another by Tony Stark.

Development of Civil War started in late 2013 when Markus and McFeely began writing the screenplay, which borrows concepts from the 2006 comic book storyline Civil War. The Russo brothers were brought back to direct in early 2014 after positive reactions to test screenings of The Winter Soldier. The film's title was revealed in October 2014 and Downey was added to the cast, with additional cast members joining the film in the following months. The film began principal photography in April 2015 at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia and the Metro Atlanta area, before concluding in Germany in August 2015.

Captain America: Civil War held its world premiere in Los Angeles on April 12, 2016. It was released internationally on April 27, and is scheduled to be released in North America on May 6, in 3D and IMAX 3D.

In 1991, HYDRA operatives in Siberia revive Sgt. James "Bucky" Barnes from a cryogenic state and condition him to be completely obedient to anyone who recites certain trigger words. He is then dispatched to intercept an automobile carrying a case of super-soldier serum, and assassinate its occupants.

Approximately one year after Ultron's defeat at the hands of the Avengers, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Sam Wilson, and Wanda Maximoff stop Brock Rumlow from stealing a biological weapon from a lab in Lagos, Nigeria. During the fight, Wanda inadvertently causes a building to be bombed, killing Rumlow and a number of Wakandan relief aid workers and increasing the international community's distrust of the Avengers' work.

At the Avengers' headquarters, Secretary of State Thaddeus Ross informs the Avengers that the United Nations is preparing to pass the Sokovia Accords, which will establish an international governing body to monitor and police the rapidly growing superhuman population.[citation needed] The team is divided over the accords: Tony Stark supports oversight because he feels responsible for creating Ultron and for the destruction the android brought to Sokovia, while Rogers is distrustful of governmental agendas and wishes the Avengers to remain free to act of their own accord.

Unable to convince Rogers to support the accords, Romanoff bears witness to the ratification of the accords in Vienna, after which a bombing kills King T'Chaka of Wakanda. T'Chaka's son T'Challa vows to kill the bomber, who security footage indicates is Barnes. Despite Romanoff's objections, Rogers and Wilson track Barnes to his hideout in Bucharest and attempt to protect him from the police and T'Challa. Rogers, Wilson, Barnes, and T'Challa are captured. Barnes is soon released by Colonel Helmut Zemo, who uses HYDRA's trigger words to question Barnes about the 1991 mission, then sends him on a rampage. Rogers stops Barnes and sneaks him away; when he regains his senses, Barnes explains that Zemo is responsible, and that he is heading to the Siberian facility where Barnes was held, ostensibly to unfreeze the other Winter Soldiers the stolen serum was used to create.

Rogers recruits Wanda, Clint Barton, and Scott Lang to help him. Stark convinces Ross to let him bring his renegade comrades in, and assembles Romanoff, T'Challa, James Rhodes, and Vision, as well as amateur young hero Peter Parker. Stark and his team intercept Rogers' team at Leipzig/Halle Airport, resulting in a huge battle, during which Romanoff allows Rogers and Barnes escape. The rest of Rogers's team is captured, while Rhodes is paralyzed after being inadvertently shot down by Vision. Romanoff reveals to Stark that Barnes was framed by Zemo, then disappears under the threat of being arrested for not operating under the accords.

Stark follows Rogers and Barnes to the Siberian HYDRA facility and reconciles with them, unaware that he has been pursued by T'Challa. They discover that the other Winter Soldiers have been killed by Zemo, who then shows footage that reveals it was Stark's parents who Barnes killed in 1991. Enraged to learn that Rogers was aware of this, Stark turns on Barnes. In the resulting fight, Barnes loses his robotic arm and Rogers disables Stark's armor. Rogers departs with Barnes and leaves his shield behind. Content that he has achieved his goal of destroying the Avengers from within in revenge for the deaths of his family in the Sokovia attack, Zemo attempts suicide, but is stopped by T'Challa, who takes him in alive.

In the aftermath, Stark gives Rhodes an exoskeleton to let him walk again. Rogers breaks his comrades out of prison and flees to Wakanda, where Barnes chooses to be frozen until a cure for his brainwashing can be found. In a post-credits scene, Parker is recovering from his injuries when his web-shooters project a spider-shaped symbol.
